Welcome to the first "official" episode of It's a Closed Set" I am Your host Omar, and with me your cohosts Johnny and Amando
Let me give you listeners a rundown of what this podcast is about,
Its Movie and tv Punditry podcast, its your weekly source of the latest cast updates, upcoming movies/tv shows and etc and well try to have a weekly movie review in our segment "or maybe some streaming recommendations. "It's a closed set" is a term more common used when there's a nude scene takingplace on a set, or during a porn shoot, but don't let it mislead, my intention as your host is to have anintimate discussion about movies and tv with you the listeners and the other guys here. Now what I think makes us different from the other podcasts similar to us is that we are genuinely just fans we don'tlive in L.A, where everyone is a critic and likes to speak for the general audience, I like to believe we are the general audience and hopefully that makes you listeners relate to us, this is for the fans and by the by the fans. So please bare with us , since its our first time behind the mics.
With that being said, ill start off by saying I am a film major, I have a very limited experience as a P.A here in nyc, and I do spend my time listening to other podcast and reading up on the latest as a personal hobby,. I like to think im into everything from Blockbusters like star wars to independent films like ex machina and etc,
When it comes to Television ,This is the golden age of television, now theres a lot of great television going on but at the same time there's too many television going on, so don't take it the wrong way if we don't come across your favorite tv show, there's just way too much its overwhelming, now not to get into in too much im more into drama but more importantly if its well written no matterthe genre. Story and character development is key to getting invested into a tv show atleast that's how Itake it. From Breaking bad to Friends,
from Game of thrones to Netflix shows, well try to cover as much as we can.
