Its A Music Thing

I had the chance to sit down and talk to Shane (guitar player / singer) from Vancouver band The Highsides. We talk about the new album "Some Pretty Dark Thoughts" and his journey in forming the band.

I had a chance to sit down and talk to Jason from The Fizzgigs. We talk about his past (band life) with Belvedere and how he got into playing music.

I had a chance to sit down with half of the members of Subcity Dwellers a while back. We talk about the upcoming reunion shows, why they broke up and how everything came full circle.

I had the chance to sit down with the brothers Baron who make up the Winnipeg band FIINN. The band released their EP back in 2014 and had been very busy up until a year ago when the band took a quick break. I talked to them about the name change (why the extra I) and what it was like growing up and playing music together.

I had the chance to sit down and talk to the fine gentlemen in Endless Chaos from Winnipeg, MB. Endless Chaos is a metal band from right here in Winnipeg MB. We talk about the formation of the band, member changes and a lot more.

I cannot believe I had the chance to talk to the one and only FRED PENNER. Fred is a Canadian and dare I say world wide iconic musical/actor. We talk about his past and how he discovered music and how he continues to push forward and find new ways to create music.

I had the chance to sit down with Winnipeg's own Rayannah. We talk about many things in this conversation including how she overcame her "imposter" syndrome, her angsty teenage years and how she is becoming a very busy producer.

I sit down and talk to Mat from Hut Hut about many things. Getting old, the album release, old bands and dodgeball!

Its been a hot minute since we have released an episode and we couldn't be more pleased to end our dry spell with Winnipeg's own Death Cassette. In this conversation we touch on a lot of points and they even tell us WHEN the new album is dropping and all about (well just about all about) the album release show.

I had the chance to talk to Gwen and Lucy from Dog Party. We talked about where they came from, how long they have been playing music and their road time with Green Day.
