It's about knowing the strength of weeds vs the strength of a tree.  God will place adversity along your path so that you remember you are stronger and more powerful than the darkness or enemies you will face. All the people who treated Jesus terribly, and how they thought it was funny, as they gathered others to see His crucifixion; little did they know that three days later they would tremble in fear as God allowed them to see Jesus rise from the dead. When Jesus carried that cross through all His pain and suffering, He did it by Himself, and He did it for all of our transgressions, all of our sins. Some may feel ever since childhood all they may remember is love running away. Love was never felt in return, feeling as though it was so easy for others to leave you, but it only crushed your soul more and more. The mind sinks so far into the darkness the only thing it was able to comprehend was doubt and the certainty that you were unworthy of love. When you have experienced childhood trauma or even as an adult, when you suffer from mental, physical, or emotional abuse, you only blame yourself. 
Let go, let God take the wheel, because He is nothing but LOVE. The world will only show you conditional love, but God will show you unconditional love and what it means to be loved. Trust Him.

With all the problems and issues, we all face, the fight becomes bigger than the issue at hand. Winning the fight often blinds us from what was really wrong in the first place. We look for who will win verses what's right and sometimes tend to hurt one another, instead of being there for each other. Sometimes we spend too much time and energy holding on to the very things that God is purposely tearing apart, but we refuse to see it that way. Just release the pain and focus on what's really bothering you. If you can't admit it to anyone else, at least be honest with yourself. It’s your soul that is tired of bearing all the pain.
