From wild college Halloween parties to quiet nights in, Halloween ain't what it used to be!
In this special Halloween bonus episode, Annie and Amanda get dressed up, revisit questionable costume choices, debate just how terrifying Hocus Pocus really is, and discuss the sacred tradition of the mom tax. 🎃
Annie went to Paris and found herself in the middle of political protests. Amanda stayed home and got a hurricane. Naturally, we both have stories.
1Somehow, a conversation about international travel turns into a startling discovery: we BOTH have strong feelings about bringing dirty underwear home in our suitcases. Annie has a bathtub-and-shampoo solution. Amanda has questions. And after decades of friendship, we’re apparently still learning things about each other.
Along the way, we get into politics, candy corn, a long-necked bird named Bill, and why Amanda was dressed as a witch on the beach.
It’s our first episode, and we’re already covering absolutely none of the things we planned. Or maybe exactly what we planned.
Welcome to It’s All Good. And Other Lies.

You know when someone asks how you're doing and you say, "It's all good," even when it's absolutely not? Yeah, let's talk about that.
Meet Amanda and Annie. Friends since college, now…
One's a therapist. One's an esthetician. Neither has it all figured out. And neither is particularly interested in pretending otherwise.
From relationships, motherhood, and aging to sex, mental health, society's ridiculous expectations, and all the things we're apparently not supposed to say out loud—nothing is necessarily off-limits.
Expect unfiltered conversations, irreverent humor, unexpected tangents, and the occasional moment of insight that makes you think, "Well, dang. That actually makes sense."
We're questioning the rules, laughing at the absurdity of being human, and figuring things out as we go.
Sometimes we're insightful. Sometimes we're ridiculous. Usually we're both.
It's All Good. And Other Lies.
Because sometimes "I'm fine" is the biggest lie we tell.
