We’re joined this week by DePauw student Sam Heichelbech. We begin by discussing the tragic Christchurch shooting and New Zealand’s political response to it. We then discuss the grounding of Boeing 737 aircraft and why the FAA may have too many regulatory ties. A relevant issue to college students, our current events conversation concludes with discussion of the recent college admissions scandal. In the second half, we debate and discuss a number of hot-button policy issues from a recent national debate tournament.
