last week may have brought up some awareness of how we exchange energy with the groups in our lives... where they inspire us and where they may deplete us... and something about that energy may have drawn attention to your own emotional body and behaviors... I've done it this way for a long time, but do I still want to do it this way?

this is the card of celebration... of friendship... of harvest and community... a fresh new energy blowing in with this new moon.

its asking us to get curious about our group relationships... friends, squads, covens, units... what's that like for you? how nurtured, how loved, how inspired are you by the people you call comrades?

its kind of a chill philosophical energy... hmmm. that's cool. that's over. that's interesting. and definitely a beautiful time to say yes to parties, invitations, new groups and possibilities... but also be aware of the "hangovers" that come from short term fun over long term fufillment

another message of balancing... in this case, the part of us that wants to be footloose and free with the part of us quite aware of our responsibilities. heavy they may feel this week.

and the king of wands is like, easy does it. how are you making this harder then it needs to be? you will always have responsibilities, you will always have things to attend to and life will always bring us challenging moments...

so be it. but how can it be more fun? how could we hold it more lightly? how could it be sexier?

life is quite brief my love. where could you bring a little light and ease and play... the king of wands is like dude, you could be having a lot more fun around here.

resist it all we want, the man's not wrong.

life might draw your attention to the weeble wobble this week. to the fact that some part of your life may be a bit neglected because other parts needed you more intensely in the year(s) that's passed.

allow it to feel a little wild this week. allow yourself to feel excited and unsure all at once. and begin to bring back that balance. whatever has been relegated to the back burner might need a little love and spice.

let it be fun. let yourself wobble a bit. its all part of this amazing wave we ride called life.

so for real... this card is tough. dark night of the soul. the ways our mind just haunts us with judgment and criticism and regret and shame. so there is no sugar coating that.

and yet.

if there is one thing that we can all relate to? this incarnation rides side by side with suffering. we know loss. we are afraid. we come here knowing we will lose everything we love.

and these are things we must make endure and make peace with.

deep patience and compassion with your roving mind this week. deep patience and compassion with those around you. they fight battles you may never know.

and mostly? life is miraculous as well. so if your mind tries to convince you that you are stuck... remind yourself that life is ever unfolding and people make a million choices in a day and you NEVER know how things might shift, appear, evolve... you can count on it.
