... Really getting underneath and inside of the root cause of an issue takes commitment and courage. But unless we’re willing to do the hard work, life becomes like eating icing. It’s sweet and great initially, but too much of it makes us sick and we definitely can’t survive on it. We need to break down the ingredients and consider what it is we really want to bake into our psyche and spirit.

The cool thing is that when we do the work, really do it - creating change from the core - from inside - the outside does begin to change. We really can see the Universe working in our favor. You may have heard that phrase before. And maybe you put it into the “platitudes” file. But I’m actually seeing this happen in my life over and over. When change is sincere, deep and internal, shift happens.

And we are a fractal of the bigger picture. When we begin making those one degree turns, we start seeing it in the world at large.

But you might be like, yea, I get all of that - at least intellectually - but where the hell do I begin? 

There is no where else to begin but with those basic core ingredients. And it’s not about our stories and all of the stuff that we endured growing up. Those are all a part of the tapestry of who we are and how we move in the world today and they brought us to right here. Right now. Ready to look at how we can truly feel held and supported in this world. Ready to lay back and be able to trust that things are really happening for us, instead of to us.

Ready to embrace that divine child essence of ourselves and welcome her back. ‘Cuz she ain’t broken. And she never really left. She got pretty muddied up and buried. But she hung in there. I mean, you’re still here, right?

We begin with those one degree shifts, those core ingredients. And it isn’t as cumbersome as it sounds. It doesn’t take more decades of therapy or other attempts at fixing. What it takes is coming back to the Truth of who we are. What it takes is compassion for ourselves, for our stories.

What it takes is remembering that we are loved. We are love. It takes connection with that divine, feminine essence that we came into this world as. It takes an allowing of that sacred, masculine essence (within all of us) to be welcomed and allowed to support us. Rebuilding trust. One degree, one ingredient at a time.

Mostly, it takes willingness and courage. We got this.
