It's In Season Anime Podcast

Episodes 5 and 6 of our three fall anime all come out with some good and some things to work on.

Kino’s Journey puts a clear picture on how the main character appeals to audiences. Is Kino a character or an avatar for the viewer?

Evil or Live quickens its pace. Shin has a point to keep an eye on, and a few new characters catch Cody’s eye.

King’s Game redeems Ria, much to our delight, and the revelation of what the game actually is comes to fruition.

We’ve reached episode’s 3 and 4 of the three shows we’re reviewing for the fall—Kino’s Journey, King’s Game & Evil or Live.

Djm recalls a time where anime viewing had a rule of four episodes before making a final decision, and did it ever come into play on this podcast. Which anime redeemed itself? Which one needs to pick up the pace for both Shay and Djm?

All this, and extra helpings of backstory on the newest It’s In Season.

Djm, Shay and Cody start with the first two episodes of their 3 shows for the Fall 2017 Anime Season.

Shay & Djm experience some interesting similarities, watching King’s Game, and Cody ends up having some dangerous flashbacks thanks to King’s Game. Will we continue?

Also, Djm provides some insight into the original Kino’s Journey anime and the currently airing version with the first two episodes.

Thanks for listening to It’s In Season, the youngest of the Delta Juliet Mike Podcasts.

It’s In Season is an anime review podcast in which Shay Taree, Cody, and Djm pick shows from the current airing anime season and review them a few episodes a time with each podcast.

Past seasons, we’ve normally chosen two shows per season, but it’s time for a change. The Fall 2017 Anime Season ended up having so many shows we all agreed on, we’re expanding to three!

Which shows did we decide on? Which shows will be reviewing after our debate and decision? There is even one show that caused Djm to cave into the mighty Anime Strike!  Tune in and find out.  And feel free to chime on in what shows you’re watching this season as well.

Both of our series for Winter 2017 have reached their conclusion.

Did Chaos;Child tie all its loose ends and give us the culprit of the murders? How did the It’s In Season crew feel about Takuru’s delusions and Chaos;Child in comparison to the rest of the Science;Adventure anime?

Did Scum’s Wish finish as strong as it started and continued? What are the fates of Mugi, Hanabe, and everyone’s favorite new slut, Akane?

Tune in.

The Anime Podcast that somehow survives winter illnesses and power outages rolls on!  Cody is out this week, unfortunately. Shay & Djm hold it down for episode’s 7 & 8 of Chaos;Child & Scum’s Wish.

A rather gruesome murder highlights the ongoing investigation of the New Generation Murders. Shay & Djm are re-invested.

Scum’s Wish gives us a new character, and concludes some character arcs, while staying as relatable as ever for both hosts.

Watch along with us.

Welcome to the sickest anime podcast of the winter season! Literally and figuratively!  Yes, the winter has been rough on It’s In Season, all 3 hosts facing some sort of bug.

A mostly recovered Cody & Shay, along with a still-not-very-recovered-at-all David jump back into Scum’s Wish and Chaos;Child and bring you up to speed on everything in both shows so far.

For Scum’s Wish, Shay provides some great insight into the dynamic between Akane & Hanabi, and Cody offers his own perspective in relation to Ecchain.

Chaos;Child invites comparisons to ERASED between 2/3 of the Midwest Crew. David does the best he can to muster a few words, fighting an upper respiratory infection.

All this, and Shay reminds us all about the most powerful weapon in the world.

Scum’s Wish & Chaos;Child seem to be a couple of the most talked about anime this season, and It’s In Season is no different.

What do Shay, Djm and Cody think of the romantic anime that Djm described as “a Bizarro School Rumble”? The relationships emerge, and we give our thoughts.

Later, Chaos;Child. Djm is a big fan of all of the Science Adventure shows, Shay and Cody have knowledge as well. How does Team It’s In Season feel about this incredibly dense mystery and its start?

NOTE FROM DJM: We skipped Fall 2016.  However, we did not miss Yuri On Ice. Hot taeks on boys that skate start off the show.

Welcome to It’s In Season!

It’s an anime podcast. It’s a seasonal anime podcast. You know how so many shows about anime run through about every anime for each season for a few seconds and moves on? Well, not this one! Wee debate and discuss a number of shows, and wittle it down to two that we’ll watch and follow through the entire season.

Join Djm, Cody, and Shay as we deliberate each of our three picks. Which two anime will we talk about this season?

As 91 Days continues to stay strong and get some love on Crunchyroll as a Critic’s Pick, Taboo Tattoo hits it’s next few episodes and takes a direction all its own. How is the Midwest Crew taking these two anime as they enter their 4th triumvirate?
