IT'S IN THE DNA: Like Father Like Son And Generations Of Crime (Episode 55)

Listen Later

Criminologists, Sociologists, Biologists, and other academics like to explain the causes of crime in ways in which the criminal is often looked at as a victim. However, at Inside The Line we see the criminal as being an opportunist, as being evil, and as someone who chooses to victimize vulnerable people.

In this week's episode, we will focus primarily on the biological influences on criminal behavior and look at how criminal behavior is passed on through families (i.e., Like Father Like Son). So if you know any 'Crime Families' across the USA, tune in and you just may hear us discuss their dirty deeds!

Inside the Line: Real Stories by Real Cops explores serious crime ‘n grime issues and stories with a dark sense of humor, from a street-level view. Interview, anecdote, and opinion mix with insults, small talk, and some things that are just weird. How are college kids hustled by the promise of sex? Why are psychopaths so charming? What’s it like to talk to a mentally ill person who’s just cut off his hand? Wisecracks, smart observations, and stories from the street make for an interesting hunk of weekly infotainment. Featuring retired Massachusetts police officer Dale Lawrence, journalist comedian Dave Rattigan and comedian-actor Nathan Arroyo.
