This week on It’s Never About Money, I am joined by David Ward, the Technical Director of Australian Philanthropic Services (APS). David worked in banking for nearly 20 years before moving into the philanthropy sector. In that time, he held senior positions at ANZ, including Chief Economist (New Zealand). David is a director of several Private Ancillary Funds and is Chairman of the Australian Philanthropic Services Foundation, APS’s Public Ancillary Fund.
In this episode, David shares his journey from the financial sector to the world of philanthropy. We delve into the concept of structured giving, exploring the various ways families and businesses can contribute to charitable causes in a more organised and impactful manner. David also addresses and dispels 3 common myths when it comes to structured giving. I hope you enjoy the episode!
