It also doesn’t mean you have to accept unkindness. Boundaries are still important. But it does mean you’re not doing it wrong.
You’re showing up. You’re being the anchor. And yes, sometimes that anchor takes a battering in the storm, but it’s also what helps everyone stay steady.
