First episode of 2020. We bring in the new year by first paying our respects to Kobe Bryant, then reflecting on the past decade, and finish by predicting what we expect the next decade to look like.

We define what it means to feel emotions, discuss some of the more "useful" ones, and then share our perspectives on fear, anger, and the differences between how men and women express their feelings.

In this episode we define love and its meaning, discuss scenarios where lust differs from love, and differentiate between infatuation and genuine interest.

After twelve episodes we finally introduce our first guest, Justin Ciferno. Not only is he a former roommate of us both, but also Mitchell's cousin. He is a graduate from The Ohio State University, so we decided it would be interesting to hear his perspective on his transition from college to the corporate world.

After a brief recap of sporting events the past weekend, we dive into some more questionable quotes. We discuss judging books by their covers and first impressions, followed by our perspectives on living for compliments and dying by criticism. 

For about the first fifteen minutes, we discuss our personalities and the character traits we admire and dislike in others. Then we switch gears to not only the traits we admire in a romantic partner, but also some of the physical traits that may entice us. The conversation carries on from there.

We start a new series called "Questionable Quotes", where we discuss quotes from books or articles we've read, people we've talked to, and/or other podcasts we've listened to. We cover why people may "peak" early, why smart people know they're dumb, and chasing pleasure vs. avoiding pain.

In this episode we catch up after several weeks of not recording. For about the first 15 minutes we discuss Mitchell's charter experiences over the past month or so, including hurricane Dorian and the yacht's latest destinations. Afterwards we cover Romain's perspective on his victory lap at OSU, the importance of alone time, and more.

We talk about the meaning behind having and serving a purpose, personal variations of purpose that serve as motivation, hypothetical scenarios, and more.

We discuss our own & society's potential perspectives on what it actually means to succeed or fail, meaningful childhood accomplishments, and previous events that we've bounced back from.
