A local Facebook group has shared that some taxi drivers refuse service or behave rudely toward passengers who live close to the Brisbane Airport.

Dean Miller said on 4BC Afternoons, "It's not the passenger's fault. People have a right to go home, whether it's five minutes away or 50."

"In an age where rideshare apps are just a tap away. Behaviour like this drives people away from traditional taxis and scratching their heads wondering why people are doing it."

"Honestly, who could blame people for doing such?" Dean continued.
