When you’re coming out of a traumatic experience, relationship, or letting go of a past version of you, you don’t just become this beautiful butterfly overnight. You have to cocoon, you have to hibernate, you have to feel the pain of that loss. And for us that looked like depression. In this episode we break down a bunch of things surrounding depression including masking it with positivity or "healthy activities", guilt, existential thoughts, literally not being able to function, getting external support like therapy & medication, and more. Although this is a heavy topic we also talk about the importance of humor, taking your feelings with a grain of salt, and how to have a main character moment to really feel everything you've been holding in.
