it’s crazy how when you’re younger, you’re naturally ‘forced’ into friendships - at family gatherings, at school, even just by playing on streets with peers. parents teach you how to be loyal, kind and supportive but they never tell you how to actually recognise that it’s time to say goodbye. we decided to record a whole episode dedicated to friendship break ups, cause it felt like it’s not widely discussed and we had something to share. losing friends is hard no matter if it was a toxic friendship or your paths just don’t cross anymore but.. it’s okay. and we’re here to tell you why!
making friends in your twenties sounds like.. a challenge. and that’s okay. no matter if you’re studying, working, travelling or just figuring it all out, you’re always surrounded by people. you evolve, you change, you grow up, and it becomes more and more important to stick to those who can support you on this journey. in this episode, we’re talking about the important difference between childhood and deliberate friendships and we discuss how to find your people when you feel the loneliest, in your twenties. p.s. as a little bonus, you will hear a very romantic story of how we met :)
well, hello! nice to meet you :) since it’s our first date (aka pilot episode), we’re just gonna sit down and get to know each other better. welcome to this little safe space, where we, Ana and Nat, are navigating through our twenties and taking you on this journey with us. it’s not always smooth and that’s okay. enjoy the ride!
