Raffa Calderon's journey began as a young child crossing the border from El Salvador on a bike, an experience that instilled in him a sense of courage and determination that would guide his path. Growing up in Pico-Union during the '80s, Raffa discovered a love for music, an outlet for creativity that allowed him to explore various identities—from a straight-A student and church drummer to a heavy metal enthusiast, cholo, and rapper.

Though he faced challenges, including the tragic loss of his stepdad and a brief period of substance abuse, these experiences became catalysts for growth. With the support of his born-again Christian church and his own inner strength, Raffa cleaned up and joined the Marines after high school. His time in the service not only honed his discipline but deepened his understanding of duty and commitment.

Pursuing education further, Raffa achieved a BA and explored various careers, from television producing at Telemundo and Channel 22 to acting. These creative roles allowed him to connect with others and express himself in new ways. His curiosity and resilience led him to open his own real estate business, turning challenges into opportunities for success. His relationships and family life, though marked by ups and downs, have enriched his journey.
