Studies have been made about the benefits of shopping local. And we love those results, especially when it encourages our neighbors to choose us over a big-box store. But is there a chance we as independent businesses could slip into a sort of complacency? Could we assume our neighbors will buy local simply on merit? The fact is we are often more expensive than the big-box stores. Are we still worth the value?
It's a question we should ask ourselves to make sure we never take our clients, or potential clients for granted. In this episode I'm putting a call out for conversation to businesses and neighbors alike so we can ensure the best relationship possible - an equal exchange.
