The plan was to hold off on recording an episode until the full managerial team was confirmed. However, nothing involving the Celtic board is ever straightforward or professional, so we decided we could at least have a chat about Martin getting the job.

Obviously, there's a bit more enthusiasm from some of the pod team than from others, but essentially, among the available options, we accept that he's the preferred choice.

The transfer window is another cause for concern and we touch on that too.

Obviously, we are not the only team in Glasgow that has a managerial issue and our man in the east has done some research on the Govan appointment. Our man in the west has also done some impressive research into his CV so he can make some cheap gags at the PTC's expense.
