  • Revival Night Conference Recap - 25

    Send us Fan Mail

God's presence changes everything. This truth crystallized during our recent Revival Conference where we witnessed what happens when every distraction is stripped away to make room for divine encounter.

The journey began months before the event when we felt a clear directive from the Lord: remove the merchandise, simplify the marketing, and focus solely on His presence. What emerged was a conference atmosphere repeatedly described as "reverent" and "bathed in prayer." Attendees from 24 churches across five states experienced something rare—a tangible sense of God's holiness that was evident from the moment they entered the room.

What made this gathering extraordinary wasn't elaborate programming but authentic spiritual hunger. During Friday evening's message challenging believers to greater desperation for God, one man walked to the altar before the invitation was even given. This act of surrender—the fruit of years of faithful prayer from his wife—created holy momentum that swept through the room. As one attendee testified: "I didn't hear God speak anything specific, but I experienced the most peace I've ever had in my life."

The prayer panel featuring diverse perspectives on developing meaningful prayer lives became a catalyst for transformation. "That moment wrecked me in the best way," one participant shared, while couples reported receiving fresh fire to pray together and for their families. James Whitford's powerful testimony reminded everyone that revival begins with personal encounter.

Perhaps most encouraging was seeing pastors find rare space to receive ministry rather than always giving it. These spiritual leaders left refreshed and revived, ready to become "fire starters" in their own congregations—fulfilling Rise Up's mission to walk alongside churches rather than competing with them.

As we look toward future worship nights and ministry opportunities in 2026, we remain committed to creating environments where people encounter God's presence so powerfully that no one leaves the same as when they arrived. Will you join us in pursuing revival that begins with desperation for more of Him?

  • Laila Davis Testimony - 24

    Send us Fan Mail

The light of Christ can penetrate the darkest places—even across religious divides and decades of waiting. Just ask Laila Davis, whose remarkable journey from Islam to Christianity stands as a powerful testimony to God's relentless pursuit.

Growing up in a Muslim household with a devout father (now living in Saudi Arabia) and an American mother who converted to Islam, Laila felt an emptiness in the structured prayers and rituals. "There was nothing there," she reflects. "No relationship, no place where I could cry out and say 'God, I need you today.'" Yet even as a child, when faced with a spiritual choice between darkness and light, something inside her chose the light.

What Laila didn't know was that a grade-school classmate had been faithfully praying for her salvation every single day at his family's dinner table—prayers that continued for decades. After marrying young and having her first daughter, Laila faced a profound realization: as a Muslim, she had no guarantee of heaven because salvation had to be earned. Looking at her newborn child, she wanted something better. "I was told Jesus is the way... you don't have to earn it with Jesus."

The transformative moment came when someone pointed out that "church isn't just for your child, it's for you too." Remarkably, when Laila was baptized, one of the individuals baptizing her was the very friend who had been praying for her since childhood. Despite this breakthrough, her journey wasn't without significant challenges—opposition from her first husband, struggles with addiction, and unhealthy relationships.

The turning point came through what can only be described as a divine encounter. During a heated argument with her current husband Greg, a stranger appeared at their door asking for water. After they gave him a bottle, the man looked back and simply said, "You did good," before disappearing into the night. Both recognized this as an angelic visitation, prompting them to return to church together. "Everything changed," Laila testifies.

Today, Laila is pursuing a master's degree in clinical psychology to become a licensed counselor, and her testimony offers profound encouragement for anyone praying for loved ones who don't know Christ: "Don't stop petitioning for someone's soul." Her life demonstrates that no one is beyond God's reach, and that faithful prayer can transform even the most unlikely circumstances.

  • Prepare For Revival Part 2 - with Pastors Chris Hoyer, Dan Wermuth, and David Pizinger - 23

    Send us Fan Mail

What begins as a desperate cry in life's darkest moments can ignite a fire that transforms not only your life but the lives of everyone you encounter. This powerful conversation with local pastors Chris Hoyer, Dan Wermuth, and Dave Pizinger explores the heart of true revival through their raw, personal testimonies.

When doctors told Pastor Dave his wife would spend the rest of her life in a nursing home after a stroke, desperation led to a supernatural encounter. "Fire of God!" he declared, and immediately witnessed a miracle that defied medical explanation. This moment exemplifies the essence of revival—not a scheduled event or building, but a transformative divine encounter born from genuine hunger for God's presence.

The pastors share how their experiences at the Brownsville Revival marked them forever. Pastor Chris candidly admits he once feared manifestations of the Spirit until God broke through his skepticism: "I was afraid of that kind of church, afraid maybe of revival, and then when it came, it was so powerful but it wrecked us, it marked us and we became carriers of revival." These encounters fundamentally altered their ministries, making it impossible to return to lukewarm faith.

For listeners struggling through difficult seasons, the message brings profound hope. Revival doesn't require complicated spiritual formulas—only the humble acknowledgment of our need for God. "Lord, I need you" spoken with sincere desperation opens the door for divine visitation. As one pastor explains, "God knows exactly where you are, he knows exactly what you're going through and he knows exactly the remedy that you need."

Ready to experience the fire of revival in your own life? Join us at the Rise Up conference August 1-2 near Branson, Missouri, where carriers of God's presence will gather to ignite a fresh move of His Spirit.

  • Prepare For Revival Part 1 - with Pastors Chris Hoyer, Dan Wermuth, and David Pizinger - 22

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the revival we're seeking isn't about one church getting noticed, but about God's presence covering the earth? Three pastors with decades of ministry experience gather to share their vision for spiritual awakening in our time.

Chris Hoyer, Dan Wermuth, and Dave Pizinger bring powerful personal testimonies to this conversation about what revival truly means. From Dave's dramatic conversion story—transforming from drug dealer to pastor after an encounter with Christ—to stories of unity emerging from disaster in Joplin, Missouri, their experiences illuminate how God moves in both individual hearts and entire communities.

The pastors unpack biblical patterns of revival through Jonah's reluctant ministry to Nineveh and Nehemiah's wall-rebuilding project. They highlight how true revival begins with humility, crosses denominational lines, and focuses on lifting Jesus rather than promoting individual churches. Perhaps most encouraging is their report that the fastest-growing demographic purchasing physical Bibles today is 15-25 year olds—a sign that younger generations are hungering for truth in an age of hypocrisy.

This conversation challenges believers to recognize that revival isn't just something to hope for in the distant future—it's happening now in various expressions worldwide. The question isn't whether God is moving, but whether we'll participate by surrendering our hearts, uniting despite our differences, and contending for His presence.

  • Abide Class Six Psalm 91 - 21

    Send us Fan Mail

Spiritual warfare is real, but are you using the most powerful weapon available to you? In this soul-stirring episode, Kim McIntire and her guests explore the extraordinary power of Psalm 91 as a spiritual weapon against the enemy's attacks.

The conversation begins with a revolutionary perspective—physically holding up your Bible like a sword while declaring God's truth aloud. It might seem unusual, but this tangible action mirrors the spiritual reality of warfare. As Kim explains, "What we do in the physical is mirrored in the spiritual and the enemy can see us."

Discover the four powerful names of God revealed in the first two verses of Psalm 91: Most High (showing God is greater than any threat), Almighty (representing His power), Lord (representing His authority), and "my God" (highlighting the personal relationship). These names establish the foundation for the chapter's promises of protection and victory.

The most striking revelation comes from verse 13: "You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent." This isn't mere poetry—it's a declaration of the authority Christians possess through Christ. "You are not a victim," Kim emphasizes. "You are a victor because of Jesus Christ."

You will be moved by powerful testimonies of breakthrough: a marriage under attack restored through daily declarations of Psalm 91, crippling anxiety completely broken through this spiritual practice. These stories aren't anomalies but demonstrations of what happens when believers wield God's Word as the offensive weapon it's meant to be.

The conversation culminates with "the power of the share"—how sharing testimonies multiplies God's work. If you're facing battles in your family, marriage, health, or mind, this episode equips you with biblical strategies to experience victory through the authority Christ has already given you. Download now and transform how you approach spiritual warfare forever.

  • Abide Class Five - Isaiah 53 - 20

    Send us Fan Mail

The ancient prophecy of Isaiah 53 reveals a love story more profound than any Hollywood romance. When God spoke these words to the prophet Isaiah, Jesus was already there, knowing every detail of the suffering that awaited Him centuries later—yet He still chose to come for us.

This powerful episode unpacks the rich layers of meaning in what many consider the most significant messianic prophecy in Scripture. We explore how Jesus grew "like a root out of dry ground," demonstrating God's ability to bring spiritual life from the most barren circumstances. They discuss how the "arm of the Lord"—representing His strength, protection and comfort—becomes available to believers through relationship with Christ.

The conversation takes a candid turn when panel members share personal stories of learning to remain silent when wrongfully accused, following Jesus' example of humble strength. This countercultural approach—choosing not to defend oneself—challenges our natural instincts but often leads to unexpected resolution and peace.

Perhaps most striking is the revelation that Isaiah 53 describes a complete "atonement package" for humanity. Christ's blood purchased salvation for our souls, His punishment secured our peace with God, and His wounds provide for our physical healing. We emphasize that these benefits are free gifts, available through grace rather than works.

The episode concludes with a powerful invitation to know Jesus personally—not just facts about Him, but to experience His life-transforming love. Whether you've walked with Him for decades or are just beginning to explore faith, this conversation will deepen your understanding of Christ's sacrifice and inspire you to embrace the countercultural values of the Kingdom: sacrifice instead of self-promotion, submission instead of demanding rights, and surrender to God's perfect will.

  • Living Surrendered to Christ in Marriage and in Life with Drew and Ashley Frazier - 19

    Send us Fan Mail

"The lost coin doesn't know it's lost." These powerful words from Drew Frazier capture the essence of a marriage story that will leave you breathless. After 16 years together, Drew and Ashley share with raw vulnerability how their seemingly perfect relationship was built on shifting sand—until God orchestrated a complete renovation through surrender.

Drew grew up in a pastor's home, well-versed in making everything appear fine on the surface while hiding struggles beneath. When he carried habitual sin into his marriage, the cracks were inevitable. Meanwhile, Ashley had unknowingly placed her husband where only Jesus should be, finding her identity and worth primarily in their relationship rather than Christ. This dangerous imbalance set the stage for devastation when Drew's hidden struggles escalated into patterns of infidelity during COVID isolation.

The turning point came with a desperate prayer and an unmistakable divine encounter. As Drew drove home one day, God spoke with remarkable clarity: "I want YOU." This profound moment of feeling truly wanted by his Creator initiated a series of events that can only be described as miraculous—a men's purity group starting that very week, trusted counselors appearing at precisely the right moment, and supernatural strength enabling both confession and forgiveness.

Ashley's journey through grief to restoration offers particular hope for anyone navigating betrayal. Her wisdom about properly grieving, seeking God's discernment, and looking for genuine "fruit of repentance" provides a roadmap for those wondering if healing is possible. The moment God prompted her to forgive "by faith" resulted in an immediate supernatural release as the blood of Jesus covered their situation.

Today, their marriage stands as living proof that nothing is beyond God's redemptive power when we're willing to surrender completely to His process. As Drew now ministers to youth and Ashley to children, their testimony continues transforming lives beyond their own family.

Have you found yourself wearing masks, hiding struggles, or placing relationships above God? Perhaps this is your invitation to experience the freedom that comes with complete surrender. Remember—sometimes the lost coin doesn't realize it's lost until the Finder begins His relentless pursuit.

  • Honesty in Marriage with Daniel and Michelle Moore - 18

    Send us Fan Mail

What does it take to save a marriage on the brink of collapse? Daniel and Michelle Moore's raw, unfiltered story offers a roadmap for couples navigating the darkest valleys of broken trust.

After 23 years together, the Moores don't sugar-coat their journey. The first seven years were marked by devastating dishonesty – Daniel maintaining inappropriate friendships with ex-girlfriends and discussing marital problems with them behind Michelle's back, manipulating her into consenting to a vasectomy despite her desire for children. Michelle eventually responded with her own deception, developing a relationship that turned into an affair. Their marriage deteriorated to the point where Michelle had secured an apartment and was ready to leave.

Then something extraordinary happened. On the very night Michelle planned to move out, a shift occurred in her heart. Despite having viewed the apartment together, they made one final decision to try again – this time building on complete honesty and vulnerable communication. Two years later, they renewed their vows, marking not just a recommitment to each other, but to an entirely new way of being married with God at the center.

The transformation wasn't merely about better communication techniques. Both Daniel and Michelle describe how developing genuine, personal relationships with Jesus fundamentally changed how they approached their marriage. Daniel offers a profound perspective: "When we get married, we're practicing for the marriage of Christ... The big picture is we're working through this marriage so that someday when we get to heaven, we should have it perfected."

Today, the Moores lead multiple marriage ministries, including their podcast "Marriage, Life and More with Connecting the Gap Ministries" and serve as Marriage 911 coaches. Their story stands as living proof that even marriages that have endured affairs, dishonesty, and near-divorce can become beautiful testimonies of redemption and healing.

  • The Struggles and Joys of Marriage with Jeremiah and Cassie Skiles - 17

    Send us Fan Mail

Twenty years of marriage has taught Cassie and Jeremiah Skiles one crucial lesson: when life's battles come, stand back-to-back rather than face-to-face. This powerful image—inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12—has become the cornerstone of their relationship philosophy.

From their unexpected beginning (she arrived with homemade pie, driving a red Firebird with T-tops!), through blending families, health crises, and spiritual warfare, the Skiles share with remarkable transparency how open communication has sustained them through even the darkest valleys. "Communication is the key to marriage," Jeremiah emphasizes, "but communication is not always easy." Their willingness to have difficult conversations—about everything from financial decisions to intimate struggles—has prevented small issues from festering into marriage-threatening problems.

When Cassie faced severe health challenges including endometriosis and eventually a hysterectomy, Jeremiah learned to ask God a simple but profound question: "Is this a time where I need to encourage her, or is this a time when I need to pray for her?" This spiritual discernment has allowed them to navigate chronic illness with grace and understanding.

Perhaps most striking is their approach to spiritual warfare. Recognizing when attacks come—often before major breakthroughs—they anoint their home with oil, stand on scriptural promises, and remain vigilant against the enemy's familiar patterns. "The enemy doesn't have new tricks," Cassie observes. "He has smoke screens and mirrors and that's all he has."

For listeners navigating marriage's complexities, this episode offers hope, practical wisdom, and a beautiful reminder that with Christ as the third strand in marriage's "triple-braided cord," relationships can not only survive but thrive through life's greatest challenges.

  • Addie Jarrett with Neighborhood Life House - 16

    Send us Fan Mail

What happens when faithful people say "yes" to serving an overlooked neighborhood? In this conversation with Addie Jarrett, Executive Director of Neighborhood Life House, we discover how a historic building from 1871 became the epicenter of transformation in North Joplin, MO.

The story begins with prayer walks and 200 people gathering to ask God what He wanted to do with a church building that was closing its doors. Sixteen years later, that simple act of availability has blossomed into comprehensive weekly programming serving children and families in a community where 85% aren't connected to local churches and 80% face food insecurity.

Addie shares beautiful stories of children who first asked "Who is Jesus?" in Kids Club now growing into teenagers committed to ministry careers. We hear about creative outreaches through art, dance, music, and basketball that provide multiple entry points for neighborhood youth to experience Christ's love. Most powerfully, she recounts how consistent relationship changed the life of a mother who moved from atheism to faith through the ministry's faithful presence during her family's darkest moments.

What makes Neighborhood Life House extraordinary isn't elaborate programs or substantial resources – it's the power of showing up consistently in a place many overlook, believing that small acts of faithfulness yield harvests "thirty, sixty, or a hundred times what was sown." This conversation will challenge and inspire you to consider how your own "yes" might transform the lives of those just beyond your doorstep.

Ready to support this vital kingdom work? Visit neighborhoodlifehouse.org to learn how you can volunteer, donate, or pray for this ministry cultivating gospel presence in North Joplin.
