Today we are celebrating and interviewing Lisa Jordan, a principal at an IT consulting firm called Cyber Group Inc., a 2020 Dallas Business Journal Women in Technology honoree, a wife and a mother. We had a great conversation with Lisa today as we discussed the teacher that inspired and encouraged her; she also shared her thoughts on why there aren't that many women in STEM careers, but why there should be. Today we are interviewing Mylinh Luong, one of the founding members of the Orchid Giving Circle. This foundation was started by Asian American women in the North Texas area that wanted to support and represent the Asian community by connecting professional Asian women to lead as role models. In May of 2015 the Orchid Giving Circle was launched and modeled after many successful Asian giving circles around the country.
