Aug. 27, 2023 ~ Chuck Dardas and Veronica Cruz from AlphaUSA join the show to discuss the second annual Tour de Livonia. Both cycling enthusiasts and families are invited to get on board for the event on Sept. 17 at Bicentennial Park in Livonia. This event offers riders two options: an 18-mile course starting at 9 a.m., or the 7-mile family route starting at 9:30 a.m. Both routes traverse through parks, neighborhoods, and Livonia landmarks.

Aug. 20, 2023 ~ Bob Carris, past president of the Livonia AM Rotary Club, and Emily Davis, member of Rotary Interact Club, join the show to talk about the sixth annual Touch-A-Truck Event in Livonia. It is a hands-on, family event that lets children and adults alike explore vehicles used in industries like public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, and delivery. All proceeds support local organizations, such as Livonia Police and Fire, and the LPS Education Foundation.

Aug. 13 ~ Dan West, president and CEO of the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, talks about the 10th Annual West Wayne Banquet being held on Sept. 25 at The Henry in Dearborn. The featured speaker is Lomas Brown, 2020 College Football Hall of Fame, former NFL All-Pro offensive lineman, and a Super Bowl XXXVII Champion. West also discusses other upcoming Livonia Chamber events and the art of networking and the importance of collaborations.

Aug. 6, 2023 ~ Juli Halper is the co-founder of Garrett’s Space, an Ann Arbor-based suicide prevention non-profit. The group is hosting its fourth Go4GarrettsSpace fundraiser from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2023 in the Morris Lawrence Building on Washtenaw Community College's campus. It will raise funds to support Garrett’s Space wellness programs and establish a holistically-focused residential center for young adults ages 18-28 struggling with depression and anxiety. The fundraiser will host musical performances, presentations, speeches from those touched by suicide, yoga, fitness, and meditation.

July 30, 2023 ~ John Mansour lost two of his three children, Alexander, 11, and Gabrielle, 6, in a boating accident 10 years ago. Eleven-year-old Adriana survived the accident, suffering severe brain trauma, and was in critical condition for months. She is currently progressing and able to attend school.

The family took comfort from many, but it was the church, several priests, and seminarians that never missed a day to console the Mansours. July 16, 2023 ~ Teresa Tomeo is the founder of T's Italy as a travel coach and consultant, which supplies advice on how to travel the country. She is also an author of more than 10 books, hosts a syndicated Catholic talk show host, and is a motivational speaker. She has more than 30 years of experience in TV, radio, and newspapers. Tomeo joins the show to talk about travels and pilgrimages to Italy, and her new book "Everything's Coming up Rosie," a reflection on her life from the perspective of her Italian mother.

July 8, 2023 ~ Lost Voices Executive Director Mike Ball joins the show to talk about his group of professional folk and blues musicians, who use the power of songwriting to bring hope and healing to kids who have experienced severe emotional trauma due to abuse, neglect, violence, addiction, and human trafficking. The group has reached over 2,500 young people to help them find a healthy place for themselves in the world.

July 2, 2023 ~ Elizabeth Arbaugh, curator of mammals at the Detroit Zoo, joins the show to talk about two recent animal births: a baby chimpanzee and a baby giraffe. A sea otter named Finn, miniature donkeys Rain and Pearl, and red ruffed lemurs Iray (ee-ray) and Telo (Tee-low) also recently joined the zoo's lineup.
