Michelle is a native of New York City, NY and currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas and Temecula, California. She has been married to James (JC) Cooley for almost 14 years. Jean's parents were Mike (from Yugoslavia) and Emma Mutavich (from Germany); her father worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania.

Jean married Mike Marcu in 1943; was married to Mike for 43 years until he passed away in 1988. She raised her family, and was head of the household, taking charge in family events, holidays, and gatherings at her Montery Park home from 1954 - 2004.

The most important things to Jean Marcu's life were God, Family, and Music in that order. She had 6 children, 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was fun loving, kind, generous, and funny.
