Too wordy and confusing for a small child

I found this story to be too wordy and confusing. I can not get my 2 / 3 year old to sit through even the first couple of pages. Perhaps we will try again in a couple of years, but I donât really enjoy the story either so we may just give it away.

Beautiful heartfelt story that connects heart and soul and itâs just so sweet that story was lead by two miceâs
