Hr: Učenici su bili na posljednjem satu škole.
En: The students were in their last class of school.

Hr: Proljeće je bilo na izmaku, a sunce je blještalo kroz prozore stare zgrade.
En: Spring was nearing its end, and the sun was dazzling through the windows of the old building.

Hr: Stoljetni internat, obrastao bršljanom, nalazio se usred bujne zelene prirode.
En: The century-old boarding school, covered in ivy, was situated in the middle of lush green nature.

Hr: Bučna učionica odjekivala je smijehom i šaptanjem o ljetnim planovima.
En: The noisy classroom echoed with laughter and whispers about summer plans.

Hr: Ivan je sjedio za svojim stolom, tiho slušajući svoje prijatelje kako pričaju o svojim pustolovinama.
En: Ivan was sitting at his desk, quietly listening to his friends talk about their adventures.

Hr: Bio je umoran.
En: He was tired.

Hr: Cijela godina bila je iscrpljujuća.
En: The whole year had been exhausting.

Hr: Razdragano su planirali putovanje.
En: They were joyfully planning a trip.

Hr: Željeli su skupa posjetiti Jadransku obalu, istraživati male ribarske gradiće i uživati u moru i suncu.

Hr: "Ivane, idemo zajedno," rekla je Ana uzbuđeno.

Hr: Marko je kimnuo.
En: Marko nodded.

Hr: "Da, ne možemo bez tebe!"
En: "Yeah, we can't go without you!"

Hr: Ivan je pogledao kroz prozor.
En: Ivan looked out the window.

Hr: Imao je samo jedno ljeto za sebe.
En: He had only one summer for himself.

Hr: Možda je to bila prilika koju više neće imati.
En: Maybe this was an opportunity he wouldn't have again.

Hr: No, bio je neodlučan.
En: But he was undecided.

Hr: Riječi roditelja odjekivale su mu u mislima.
En: His parents' words echoed in his mind.

Hr: Edukacija je važna, budućnost je važna.
En: Education is important, the future is important.

Hr: Ali pustolovine... one su nekako bile važnije.

Hr: Te noći Ivan se dugo prevrtao u krevetu.
En: That night Ivan tossed and turned in bed for a long time.

Hr: San ga nije htio.
En: Sleep wouldn't come.

Hr: Mislio je o svemu što bi mogao doživjeti s Markom i Anom.
En: He thought about everything he could experience with Marko and Ana.

Hr: Sljedećega jutra, uzdahnuo je duboko i donio odluku.
En: The next morning, he sighed deeply and made a decision.

Hr: Na zadnji dan škole, dok su svi spremali svoje stvari, Ivan se približio svojim prijateljima.
En: On the last day of school, while everyone was packing their things, Ivan approached his friends.

Hr: Razmijenili su oduševljene poglede i čvrsto se zagrlili.
En: They exchanged delighted looks and hugged tightly.

Hr: Ubrzo su krenuli na put, puni nade i želje za istraživanjem.

Hr: Putovali su prema Jadranu, kroz mirisne borove šume i uz obalu blistavog mora.

Hr: Vjetar im je hladio lice, a osmijesi su im bili puni slobode.
En: The wind cooled their faces, and their smiles were full of freedom.

Hr: Kad se Ivan vratio u školu na jesen, primijetili su svi da je promijenjen.
En: When Ivan returned to school in the fall, everyone noticed he had changed.

Hr: Bio je sigurniji, odlučniji.
En: He was more confident, more decisive.

Hr: Naučio je važnu lekciju o sebi i životu.
En: He learned an important lesson about himself and life.
