Cooper Barkate may be the smartest dude in college football.

Cooper was a highly recruited receiver out of Mater Dei in California, pulling in offers from Oregon, Notre Dame, UCLA, and other top Power 4 programs. 

However, Cooper made the decision to commit to Harvard, and told reporters that he had a plan. 

Five years later, it looks like his plan panned out. Cooper graduated from Harvard in three years, grad transferred to Duke, was a top receiver in the nation, and decided to transfer for his final season to the University of Miami.

Cooper explains how his unconventional path to success in college football is one that college athletes need to consider, as the new NIL landscape is selling kids a false reality.
