This eight-part series will present the fundamentals of in-depth Talmud study known as 'iyun'. Using a variety of Talmudic topics, the course will train and equip students with the tools and practical steps on how-to apply this method onto their own learning.

This introductory course is geared to everyone, from the beginner to the more experienced Talmud student. Both alike are sure to benefit from this fundamental introduction to Talmud study.

In this episode we will present three Talmudic subjects ('sugyot') — Kiddush, Lechem Mishneh, Ner Havdallah. These subjects will serve us as examples for us to exercise and apply the iyun method.
