If we pray, why worry? If we worry, why pray? Let this sink in… If we pray to and trust God, if we actually “Cast our cares on Him”, if we truly “Let go and let God”, then we have absolutely nothing to worry about. We have put our needs, concerns, and fears in capable hands.
From there it is not a matter of “If” but “When”. God has us and He will answer our prayers. The answer will be either NO, GO, GROW, or SLOW. But we need to trust Him once we give our issues into His care.
Let’s look at the other half of that spiritual equation…”If we worry, why pray?” Just like God instructs/demands that we do not fear, He also makes it clear that we are not to worry. He is our Protector, our Provider, our Father, our King, and our Source of all resources.
When we worry, it is like sin. It is an act demonstrating our lack of trust and confidence in God and we would have been better off to not have prayed at all.
When we give our cares to God, we break the grip that worry has on our minds.
