What traditions do you remember or do you still practice with your families that you recall as a child? As we find ourselves already in the Holiday season, I reflect on my favourite moments and traditions growing up and what I want to continue with my own family.

Isn't it great to know that ONE DAY your child will all of a sudden do something with out you having to nag them or constantly reminding them to do things!

We talk about how imagination and niches can be a great way to support your child in a positive way and to make sure that they know it is okay to fail and try again and that you also experienced that situation they are currently dealing with.

Having a plan or not when you start your day can be thrown off by the simplest outburst or chaos your child experiences due to a trigger event. 

Feels like the same routine each day and you are not getting anywhere.

There is hope and remember all it takes is a calm voice, gentle smile, and positive words of encouragement.

Life can be complicated enough and sometimes you find yourself in situations where your marriage goes bad and you find out your child has special needs. It is NOT the end of the world and know that your not the only one that is going through the stress and overwhelming situation. 

Listen to my thoughts and experiences of what has helped me with my son and being a single parent, just remember it WILL GET BETTER!!!

Getting together with the gang and reminiscing about all the concerts and wonderful and memorable experiences we had together. Friends make the concert-going experiences much more memorable. What was your favourite concert and what was your favourite moment?
