Today’s word of the day is ‘75 years’ as in Good Friday as in Happy Passover as in it’s the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in MLB. Let’s talk some about the life of Jackie Robinson, both on and off the field. Today is also the 9th anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombing. We’re headed to the race on Monday. Let’s discuss that day and every race after. (14:20) What’s the update on Chelsea Football Club’s sale? The Ricketts family has decided to pull its bid. The supporters of Chelsea turned on the Ricketts family quickly. Now three other American consortium’s are left. (18:45) Did you see the person who bought Tom Brady’s “final TD pass” for $518K got his money back? HORSE HOCKEY! Let me explain why. (25:30) Review: Harry Chapin. (31:00) Kyler Murray didn’t get an extension but his coach did. He and Kliff Kingsbury have the same agent. Murray is only entering his 4th year with the team so he still has two years left on his Rookie deal. Why is this situation even happening? It’s ridiculous. (34:35) NPPOD: Shohei Ohtani is in trouble. Can he possibly stay great as a pitcher and hitter? Doesn’t look like it. (43:00) So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Someone asked me about Marlins Park opening 10 years alter and what I would have done differently on that day.
