June 12 YAMAJOY - Watcha! (Main Mix)
Release Info:
As Barcelona prepares for the peak of the summer season, Jackies Music Records presents the "Off Barcelona Sampler 2026", a definitive four-track collection arriving on June 12th. Following our recent showcase at IMS Ibiza, this release captures the high-octane energy of the city’s rooftop parties and open-air dancefloors during its most iconic month. The compilation serves as a sonic bridge between global influences and the Mediterranean’s unique clubbing spirit, bringing together a diverse roster of artists who share a commitment to the "Real House Music" philosophy.
The journey begins with the Seoul-born, Paris-raised Grace Kim. A classically trained pianist from the National Conservatory of Paris, Grace Kim translates her profound musical depth into a club-focused sound that is punchy and full of character. Her signature style leans into a dynamic, accessible form of tech house, marked by sharp grooves and a driving energy that mirrors the infectious presence she brings to her performances behind the decks across Europe.
The sampler's momentum continues with Mainline, a London-based production duo whose chemistry is the result of over a decade of friendship and shared decks. Channeling the golden era of 90s House and Disco, they deliver a modern interpretation of the classic groove. Their contribution—defined by funky basslines and chunky drums—adds a nostalgic yet forward-thinking layer to the compilation, reinforcing their reputation as one of the UK's most rapidly emerging acts to watch.
Expanding on that nostalgic vibration, the Paris-based duo Yamajoy brings the quintessential "French Touch" to the Jackies catalog. Formed within the Mégaparté collective, their sound is a sophisticated cocktail of round basslines, disco strings, and pulsating house beats. By blending 90s piano layers with a generous dose of melody, Yamajoy provides the perfect daytime-to-nighttime transition, capturing the sun-drenched essence of a Barcelona summer.
Rounding out the collection is the Madrid-based rising star Devel, whose work is defined by a meticulous balance of house and tech house. Infusing his production with old-school nuances and references to the 80s and 90s, Devel delivers the kind of energetic, living rhythms that have already earned him the backing of titans like Jamie Jones and Solomun. His contribution provides a powerful finale to the sampler, grounding the release in a sound that is both unmistakable and deeply rooted in pure dancefloor functionality.
Ultimately, the Off Barcelona Sampler 2026 is more than just a collection of tracks; it is a testament to Jackies’ ongoing mission to unite the global house community under one rhythm. As the city transforms into the epicenter of electronic music this June, these four artists provide the essential soundtrack for the moments where the sun meets the sea and the music takes control. Whether on a packed terrace or an intimate basement, this release ensures that the spirit of the Barcelona summer resonates long after the final beat.

May 29 Out Of My Mind (Main Mix)
Bringing a sun-drenched surge of energy to Jackies Music Records, French standout Baccus delivers “Out of My Mind,” a track that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of a high-summer club heater. A central figure in the modern French House landscape, Baccus has built a reputation for weaving "French Touch" elegance with funk and minimal nuances—a signature sound that has seen him grace the booths of the Rex Club and shared stages with legends like Kerri Chandler and Folamour. With “Out of My Mind,” he leans into his most potent "secret weapon": his voice. Having trained as a singer since childhood, Baccus provides his own vocals here, anchoring the track’s rolling bassline with a raw, human soul that he describes as "reshaping the essence of funk for the club."
The result is a masterclass in dancefloor physics, where punchy kicks and a lively, tailor-made bassline provide a relentless foundation for the track’s feel-good atmosphere. As the founder of Groovytude Records and a collaborator with the likes of Oden & Fatzo and Black Loops, Baccus knows exactly how to balance underground credibility with peak-time accessibility. “Out of My Mind” doesn't just fill a gap in a set; it captures the specific, high-voltage energy Baccus is known for bringing to iconic festivals like We Love Green. It’s a rolling, funky house anthem that feels like a warm breeze hitting a crowded terrace—nostalgic in its soul, fresh in its execution, and unapologetically designed to spread positivity across global dancefloors from Paris to Barcelona.

Jackies Music House Session #292 - "Parla"
Parla:
Classically trained as a composer and educated as an audio engineer, Pɑrlɑ brings a long-formed perspective to electronic music. Born in Germany and now based in the Netherlands, he has lived and worked across different scenes and eras, shaping a sound rooted in experience rather than trend. His artistic home is Rotterdam, with a strong connection to the city’s underground and the legendary Perron.
The name Pɑrlɑ derives from the Italian “parlare” meaning “to speak” — a fitting reference for an artist who prefers to let the music do the talking. Avoiding excessive narratives or self-description, Pɑrlɑ focuses on clarity, emotion, and intent within the sound itself.
Musically independent and fluid, his work moves between Classic House and Indie Dance, balancing timeless structures with a modern, understated edge. His releases have appeared on Permanent Vacation, NeedWant, Jackies, and AEON, reflecting a selective and consistent artistic path rather than a genre-bound identity.
