Trump is also looking at tariff activations later this week, and is making plans to visit Texas flood areas later this week.

Finn reports on a roadway cave-in along Bay Street in the Stadium District, outside of the Maxwell House plant. JEA crews have been working since last night to resolve the pipe collapse some 14 feet below the roadway that has resulted in most lanes in the area being closed. No repair resolution ETA is determined yet, so drivers are advised to plan alternate routes for that area TFN.

Over 150 million hotdogs are on the menu nationally over the 4th of July weekend, not to mention pulled pork, ribs, steaks, burgers, etc. Amber Canavan of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) dsicusses a protest demonstration in advance of the 4th of July, advocating for meat alternatives. Locally, the "Hell on Wheels" truck will be outside The Bearded Pig restaurant at 1224 Kings Ave at noon today.

Democat Josh Weil recently annoucned his candidacy for US Senate, opposing incumbent Republican Ashley Moody. Moody was appointed to fill the vacated seat when Marco Rubio took a position in the Trump Administation. Weil shares his concerns over current Republican-led policies in Florida, the Alligator Alcatraz detention center, and more. The next general election for a Florida seat in the US Senate is in 2026.
