ILLEGAL THC FOODS - The FDA and the FTC are cracking down on companies that have been using copycats of Delta-8 THC, which is a psychoactive substance, in foods mimicking snacks that have gotten kids sick. Candice Cole is live in Washington with more on the warning letters the FDA sent out to six companies this week and the risk to children.

Meanwhile, Democrats have slowed their roll in their urgency to virtually nominate President Biden as their party candidate, in part because it's not legislatively urgent now, and in part because there is internal concern in the party as to whether Biden is fit for another term. The President's recent COVID diagnosis and delay in campaigning isn't helping.
