There were no new discussions between the US and Iran toward a ceasefire over the weekend. The existing ceasefire remains tenuous, as the US blockade continues in the Strait of Hormuz and President Trump continues his aggressive posturing in an effort to compel more negotiations. Meanwhile, the related ceasefire between Israel and Lebannon draws closer to its negotiated end. Israel insists their conflcit isn't with Lebannon but with Hezbollah forces.
