President Biden is encouraging federal employees to get vaccinated, and will soon require all federal employees to either show proof of vaccination OR be subject to frequent covid testing. In the mean time, as the number of covid diagnoses increase due to the delta variant, all federal employees are required to practice masking & social distancing habits at work. The President hopes that by requiring this from government employees, it will serve as a model to motivate private businesses to encourage vaccination and reduce the spread of coronavirus.
