Join us again this week as we continue our series on Genesis, continuing with chapter 25 verses 19-34. This week we meet Jacob and Esau. Two brothers who show us what happens when we despise the promises of God.

Esau gives away his birthright for a bowl of stew. Jacob seizes it through manipulation. This story is about the contrast between shortsightedness and faith, self-reliance and grace, human failure and God’s sovereign plan.

We’ve all been like Esau. We’ve all been like Jacob. But the good news is, Jesus shares his birthright with those who believe.
