  • Helping a young aspiring teacher live free from debilitating endometriosis
26-year-old Miss X was diagnosed with an extreme case of endometriosis — 10cm cysts on both ovaries, and extensive growths throughout her pelvis and large bowel.

From the LottoStar Fortune Frenzy funds raised for Good Morning Angels, LottoStar will donate the R100,000 needed to enable the medical team to assist Miss X as a matter of urgency.

Dr. Abri de Bruin will also be doing the surgery for free, while others have also offered their expertise during the process. De Bruin also shared more about endometriosis, debunking old beliefs and motivating women to get help when they need it. GMA webpage

  • Charlotte Sibanyoni: Becoming the first Black woman NG Kerk Reverend
Good Morning Angels is Jacaranda FM’s multi-award-winning community giveback and upliftment initiative, changing lives one Wednesday at a time on Breakfast with Martin Bester. What started as a simple moment of kindness on a morning radio show in 2005 has, over the course of two decades, grown into a powerful expression of the resilience of the human spirit to overcome, a beacon of hope in times of despair, and the inspiration for a legion of Angels who give because they care.
Over the next 20 weeks, Good Morning Angels, The Legacy will tell the stories of some of those who have benefited from the kindness of strangers over the past two decades. They will share how that moment of light impacted their lives in the most beautiful and sometimes unexpected – but always inspiring – ways. It’s the real story after the story, a celebration of 20 years of changed lives told by those who are living it.
