Greetings once again faithful listeners. This week on Central City Underground, we discuss a thought provoking episode aptly titled "Therefore I Am". We finally witness the origin story of The Thinker and the Mechanic, and get one step closer to fully understanding their motives. Meanwhile, Barry is quite conflicted. His instincts tell him that Devoe is the bad guy they have been hunting, but Team Flash feels that Barry might be overthinking the whole situation. As if that wasn't enough to ponder upon, we see the return of another speedster fresh from battling starfish from outer space! Wally's back from Blue Valley just in time for any crises that may arise. Join us for another fun-filled discussion as we all wonder, "Where the heck was Dibny?".

Elongated Journey Into Night

Octothorpe: another term for the pound sign (#)

I’m all for a good gumshoe mystery, but this one might be a stretch. This week Hartley Sawyer delivers a masterful performance when he joins Team Flash as the wise-cracking ex-police detective Ralph Dibny, AKA The Elongated Man. And trust me, this guy is a real private dick! When we first met Dibny, he appears to be a down on his luck, sleaze ball private investigator. Quickly we discover he has recently taken a ride on the Metabus and has a real chip on his shoulder for Barry Allen. Once his meta-abilities manifest, our hero-to-be makes matters even worse by blackmailing the crooked mayor into not being blackmailed!? Read more...

Haikus are easy?

This week the marbles fly as the Flash battles bad luck, break-up cubes, and bad pipes! Becky Sharpe is your average down-on-her-luck everywoman, until a magical ride on the Central City MetaBus turns her into Hazard, the luck manipulating supervillain. In the blink of an eye, her whole life is turned around and now she must luck her way free of Team Flash’s bumbling attempts to capture her. Read more...

Happy 1-1-1 Day Undergrounders! This week we find our heroes getting mixed signals, of both the heart, and the tech kind. Barry and Iris are readjusting to having each other back in their lives, by going to couples counseling?! As it turns out, the road back to happiness might have a few technical glitches. Theirs isn’t the only relationship suffering from the new dynamics of Team Flash. Cisco and Gypsy work through their own schmoopy love problems. Thank Saint Shaquille! Read more...

It’s been a long summer as we eagerly awaited to see what would become of the Scarlet Speedster after being sent into the Speedforce at the end of last season. There was some speculation and chatter on the Facebook page as we could only imagine what was in-store for us and Team Flash…Team Kid Flash…wait…Team Vibe(?) Well let’s just say that the team’s all here. That’s right, we get Barry back in the first episode. As if that wasn’t enough, Caitlin as a kick butt bartender! How could it get better than that? I’ll tell you how. Iris is the new team leader, Joe and Cecile are moving in together and Wally knows Japanese! Read More...
