Jake Scott is the Chairman of the young Conservatives magazine The Mallard. He is also a a Governor of the Birmingham and Midlands Institute, which was established by an Act of Parliament in 1854 to defend and further the cultural life of Birmingham; the Chairman of the Young Victorians, the youth organisation of The Victorian Society; and the Head of Communications at the Save the Parish movement, a group that fights to prevent the agglomeration of parishes in the Church of England.
