Adam Copeland is joined by Athletic Astros Writer Jake Kaplan about the article he did with Nick Groke about how they would tier out the upcoming free-agent shortstop class. Jake covers the Astros and talks a little bit about their hot start to the season and his take on opposing fans reacting to the Astros this season. We jump into the SS tiers for the upcoming free-agent class and Corey Seager is the #1 tier. Below him are Trevor Story and Carlos Correa. 3rd tier is Javy Baez of the Cubs. Tier 4 is Marcus Semien and the Giants Brandon Crawford. Age is a big factor to why Crawford is lower on the list. He could be an interesting addition to a team that has a young ss that is a year or 2 away from the bigs.
