To begin Season 2 of Jake's Takes, Jake is joined by his guy Jeff Andrus in his College Athletes Series. Jeff is a College Golfer at Central Michigan University. In this interview Jake and Jeff sit down to talk about how Jeff's love of golf started. They start by talking about Jeff's passion for golf and where he got it from (3:00). Then they switch over to talking about all of the tournaments that Jeff has played in (5:45). Then they switch over to Jeff's high school golfing career and how that set him up for moving into College Golf (10:32). Then after they take a break Jake and Jeff switch over to the recruiting side and talk about what went into Jeff's decision to go to Central Michigan (19:39). Then to they start talking about Jeff's first year of college (23:37). Then to close the pod Jake puts Jeff on the spot and asks him who his top 3 favorite athletes growing up (29:57).

In this episode Jake concludes the first season of Jake's Takes by doing another NBA Catchup. He starts out the episode by explaining how the NBA In-Season Tournament works (1:54). In this episode Jake continues his College Athletes Series with his guy Stephen. Stephen is currently a baseball pitcher at Michigan State University. To start the podcast Jake and Stephen talk about Stephen's upbringing and his early days in baseball (3:00). This leads into talking about Stephen's athleticism and what made him love playing sports so much (4:26). Then they shift into Stephen's high school days talking about his time with his travel team the Arsenal Prospects, his time in high school with Royal Oak Shrine, and his recruitment leading up to college (6:20). Then they switch over to Stephen's Freshman year and how he adjusted to the life of a college athlete (19:44). This leads into Stephen telling Jake what his favorite part of last season was (24:53). After that Stephen tells Jake about some of the expectations that he has for himself going into next season (26:00). In this episode Jake is joined by his guy Matt Griffin. Matt has been working in the CMU TV Brodcasting Network for the past 2 years covering both NBA and NFL so in this episode Jake and Matt sit down to talk NBA. To begin Matt talks about his time in radio and how he has gotten better with the more times he has done it (4:25). They start out by talking about Game 5 and what stuck out to them about the game (7:10). Jake then asks Matt if he thinks the series would be different if Boston had completed the 3-0 comeback on Miami (10:12). In this episode Jake launches his first College Athletes Series. In this series Jake will sit down with different College Athletes and explore how they got into the position that they did. In this interview Jake is joined by Rochester University Shooting Guard Brody Parker. To begin the podcast Jake asks Brody about his upbringing (4:26). Then they switch over to talking about how hard work was one of the keys to success for Brody (6:56). Jake then asks Brody about some of the point guards that Brody tried to model his game after (8:34). Then they switch over to talking about Brody High School Career and some of his favorite memories from that time in his life (9:48). After that they switch over to Brody's College career and they talk about his first two years at Oakland University (13:22). Then they switch into Brody deciding to move on from Oakland and ultimately choosing to stay close to home at Rochester University (17:08). Then Jake asks Brody what Brody's expectations are for himself going into next season (19:30). Then Jake and Brody move on to talking about one of their favorite topics to talk about together which is Fantasy Football. To close the podcast Brody and Jake go through their Running Back tiers going into next season (20:56).

In this episode Jake is joined by his guy Evan Blanchard in order to discuss some MLB Baseball. They begin the podcast by diving deep into the Detroit Tigers and how their season has gone so far (2:31). In this podcast Jake is joined by his Hockey guy Peter Murphy in order to catch everybody up on what is going on in the hockey world. To begin the podcast Jake asks Peter about how the Red Wings have been doing (2:06). That leads into a big talk about the lottery and one of the best prospects in the hockey world and that is Connor Bedard (4:48). Then they switch over to talking about the NHL Playoffs and they talk about the intensity of the sport (12:59).
