Join Jeff Kinsburg, the Visionary, Founder, Chairman, and COO of JAKTOOL, on this exciting episode of JAKTALK. For episode 6, we're delighted to welcome back Paola Torres, our seasoned Program Manager, for her third appearance.
This episode kicks off a four-part series that explores our evolving approach to Innovate, Execute, and the various meanings of "Transfer" within our growing organization. Our team of expert engineers and manufacturers use this process for our MedTech and U.S. Department of Defense customers to take ideas from their very initial phase to done.
The two discuss what makes our process of Innovate, Execute, and Transfer unique from other contract manufacturers or engineering firms. Many companies say they do both well, but most either manufacture or engineer and provide the other service at a lower level.
At JAKTOOL, we offer an experienced team of engineers and manufacturers who help work through variations of designs during the Innovation phase, create prototypes and test during the Execution phase, and then can mass-produce the end product during the Transfer phase, or give the customer the assets they need to produce their products elsewhere.
The unique aspect of our process is that we do all of it under one roof, and we do it really well. Not all engineering firms or contract manufacturers can say this.
Listen in on this informative conversation, and if you have a product or prototype you’re looking to develop in the MedTech or Defense space, reach out to start the discussion!

About us:
Our niche: Developing products and accelerating them to market, so let's build something great together!
JAKTOOL has grown over 25 years into one of the Northeast's premier product development, engineering, and precision prototyping and contract manufacturing companies on the merits of our passion, talent, and dedication. JAKTOOL is your trusted product development and manufacturing partner.
- We are a team of humble engineers, craftsmen, and program managers who love interesting and unique problems.
- We help mature ideas into physical prototypes for faster transition and provide low-volume production for precision parts that are difficult to source.
- We excel at projects that are too precise and low volume for most shops.
- We outperform most engineering design firms that get lost in CAD and create virtual models that cannot be built or verified.
- We can physically fabricate and inspect most of the mechanical and electrical products and systems that we design in-house.
- We have an unbiased process (AIM) to consistently capture functional requirements and develop a material solution to transition into production.
