Texarkana Songwriters is a series of compilation albums featuring singer/songwriters from Texarkana, TX, and the surrounding areas. The event was founded by Jase Bryant of Canaan, and we both joined forces to record and document the entire experience.

Hudu Akil reflect on a WILD Saturday night in Tempe, AZ, their show with Dirty Streets and El Perro at Yucca Tap Room, the crazy events of the night, and the debauchery that ensued. The band will be on short hiatus for the summer as they work on several projects. Next up is Psycho Las Vegas with Old Fashion Assassin on August 19th at Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Ryan Garney is the singer for High Desert Queen from Austin, TX. The quartet recently released their debut album "Secrets of the Black Moon"," via Ripple Music in October of last year. We talk about their run with Sasquatch, and their very recent European tour.

Chris and Ethan are the rhythm section for the Heavy Psych band Warlung from Houston, TX. They are currently in route to Phoenix to kick off their "Trip out West Tour" tonight in Mesa, AZ on their way to Heavy Psych Sounds Festival which is happening simultaneously in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA.
