Pastor Matt journeys through these first verses of James to show us, as christians we should learn to joyfully view our trials through the lease of God’s goodness and sovereignty. To this end we begin to meet trials with joy, trust God’s goodness in trials and embrace our real position with humble reliance on Christ alone.

*Humble; 3:1-5:6 it’s self aware, selfless, submissive and sympathetic

*Expectant; 5:7-5:20 it’s persevering and praying.
