James and Ellen White were formidable leaders, prolific writers, expert organisers and tireless workers. They led the Adventist church through its early foundations, expansion and growth but during this time they were husband and wife, parents, mother and father to four boys. Their marriage experienced more hard ship than many others but through it all they persevered and prospered and there are many lessons that we can learn from them.
