Happy Holidays people. MERRY CHRISTMAS. Elf The Musical is running through January 8 2023 at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. With me today I have Chadwick and Matthews played by Sam Arlen and Adriana Michelle Sheer. This duo go together Like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong! Their chemistry on stage perfectly matches their energy off stage! We sit down to share our first best and worst impressions, where we want our journeys to take us, and the importance of SELF CARE.

Episode 75

Guest: Joshua William Green

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

My very special guest is one of the most talented people I know and he is also one of my bestest friends. Joshua William Green made his directorial debut this past fall at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center. Along with it being his debut production it was also the regional premiere of The Color Purple. Hindered with many obstacles Joshua once again defied all odds and produced an experience that will impact a community for years to come. This is Part 1 of a 3 Part series and every hour, minute, and second will be worth the listen! Lives were forever changed by this production. Let’s unpack this experience together with a trip down memory lane!

Episode 74

Guests:

Audrey Floyd

Josh Shepard

Happy Holidays EVERYONE!! Let the cheer continue with my next two guests Audrey Floyd and Josh Shepard. Starring as Shawanda and The Manager in Elf The Musical at The Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. The episode is filled with Honesty, Laughter, and Heartfelt views of points. We relate on many topics but always end up spending most of our time discussing our melanin experiences. There are very few times we experience being the majority. Being black actors bring us together in ways that sometimes feel bittersweet . And other times remind us of home, our childhood, and our families. As the saying goes “The Blacker The Berry The Sweeter The Juice”. Stick your teeth into this juicy episode…!!

Episode: 73

Guest: Anna Parchem

Tis the season. Happy Holidays. I wish everyone a healthy and safe holiday filled with love, fun, and family traditions. Like your favorite holiday film. Or in this case your favorite holiday musical. Insert Anna Parchem playing Jovie in Elf The Musical at the Dutch Apple. Detailed is an understatement when describing Anna. Her intellectual process will leave you satisfied in descriptive ways I can not explain unless you press play and listen in!!!
