Winning With Words - Ep 5 of 5 - Say It Like You Mean It…
Welcome to Part 5 of my 5-part miniseries titled, "Winning With Words." This episode is titled "Say It Like You Mean It" and our conversation focuses around the subject of tonality. The way we use our words and the emphasis we put on them can change the meaning of what we say and especially how people interpret what we say. The classic example of this is when kids issue a half-hearted apology only to be rebuked with the phrase, "Say it like you mean it."
If you missed Part 1, 2, 3, or 4, of this mini-series, make sure to listen back to episodes #179, #181, #183, and #185 to get the full value of this content.
Going forward, we will return to our regular Teaching Tuesday format and will soon release a new mini-series. Make sure that you are subscribed to the podcast so that you receive automatic notifications when these go live and you never miss an episode. Our "Interview Friday" episodes will remain unchanged and you can continue to expect more great expert interviews each and every Friday.
Occasionally, I record my Teaching Tuesday episodes live and broadcast to Facebook. For the opportunity to catch the recordings live, make sure that you are following me on Facebook (@mattbrauning) and watch out for when I go live.

What’s Real Happiness Miniseries Ep 1 of 6
As we edge ever closer to the end of 2019 and the start of 2020, we are starting possibly our most important podcast miniseries for you titled, "What's Real Happiness?" This miniseries will flow through the entire concept of happiness versus fulfillment. Joy versus purpose, and why the later is so much more important than the former.
I'll be covering topics of the power of goals, taking personal responsibility, finding stability, setting limits to increase happiness, and so much more. I really can't wait, and hopefully you have already hit PLAY!
For the next couple weeks, BOTH weekly episodes will follow this mini series. By early January we will return to our regular Teaching Tuesday and Interview Friday format.
