Most of us like to be liked. We may not need to be the center of attention or the life of the party but we want people to like us. We fear being ostracized. We live in a day where people are easily cancelled. We fear being cancelled by friendscancelled by culture. It drains us of courage. The gospel, even when presented well is offensive. The concept of being born again lets us know that everything about us is wrong and we needs a rebirtha do over. In a day of increasing hostility to the gospel, its hard to be courageous.
