FORGE exists to serve those whom the Holy Spirit is calling into a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
FORGE does this by teaching the Bible, God’s holy word so that individuals understand God’s forgiveness, live in its reality, and overcome wounds caused by bondage to sin. Christians experience gratefulness and renewed purpose as they are encouraged by words of life and participate in God’s ongoing healing for their lives.
Forgiven- We are forgiven because of Christ’s completed work upon the cross. This is a gift of God’s grace and mercy; there is nothing done by a human to earn nor keep salvation. (Eph. 2:8-10; Tit. 3:5).
Overcoming- We are overcoming false teaching, conditioning, and emotionalism based upon a sober study of God’s Word, the Bible. (2 Tim. 2:15; Acts 17:11).
Reformed- We are committed to the Reformed Confessions. We walk in forgiveness, and we rest in the sovereignty of God knowing that He will work all things together for good for those called according to His purpose (Matt. 7:12; Rom. 8:28; 2 Cor. 2:4-10).
Grateful- We are grateful that God opened our eyes to His glorious truth and that He brought us to life for His glorious purposes. (1 Cor. 2:14; Gal. 2:20).
Encouraging- We encourage others by speaking words of life. We preach true deliverance to the captive and freedom to the slave. We proclaim the true gospel of Christ—not the counterfeits which currently seem to consume our society and much of visible religious life. (Luke 4:18; Gal. 1:8).
“As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” (Prov. 27:17, NKJV).
