Today we are joined by James Scarlett, organiser and band booker of 2000 Trees and ArcTanGent festivals. James talks about how 2000 Trees Festival was conceived by him and five friends back in 2006. They wanted to create a festival that had a great a community around it and was a pleasant one to attend. 2000 Trees was born in 2007 and has been going ever since, featuring artists like Frank Turner and Jimmy Eat World over the years. The festival will welcome headliners The Gaslight Anthem later this summer as well as other impressive names.
James also co-hosts the podcast '2 Promoters, 1 Pod', which provides a great insight into what it is like being a successful promoter, be sure to give it a listen.
In the intro this time, Chris and Nick have a special guest in the form of Bobby Grohl from Elvana! Bobby gives us a peak into what it's like being part of the awesome machine that is Elvana.
