If Faith, Love, and Hope are the important markers of Christians in the early church, what does that mean for Christians today? This week we tackle the issue of hope and how to actually live into hope when the world around us is filled with struggle.

What does the label “christian” really mean for us? The early church defined the markers of “christians” as those who are marked by Faith, Love, and Hope. This week we take a look at Love and how it means something far more than a feeling, but actually asks us to live differently.

When Jesus selects disciples, He does so from a group of people who come from very different backgrounds. The Bible ends with a declaration that “all tribes, languages, peoples and nations” are around the throne – which means that there are still tribes, languages, peoples and nations. Jesus doesn’t erase the divisions, He brings the divided together.
